Blessings

This past Saturday was such an amazing day. Me, my mom and my good friend Sandy had the opportunity to visit the newly renovated Billy Graham Library in Charlotte.

If you every have the opportunity to go ... GO! It is such a peaceful, anointed place- a time I spent reflecting on the ministry of a true disciple of our Lord, and all that God has accomplished through him. It's beyond measure!

The Intimidator

We had a great weekend! Very busy, but so much fun! I hope all of you had a great weekend as well- filled with family, friends, fun, rest and blessings!

I have not been to Carowinds in quite sometime. Jason and I went with some friends a few years back, but before then- I think I was like 12. We made plans to go with my aunt and uncle and their 2 boys, because the boys had never been. My brother and his girlfriend, Clary, went also and we had the best time! The weather was perfect and the company was even better.

The highlight of the trip for the rollercoaster riders (no, I'm not one of them!) was the new "coaster"- The Intimidator. Everyone said it was a great ride- I'll have to take their word for it!

Gracie kept my Mom and Dad company all afternoon- I know they had a fun time with her!

The Submissive Wife

I am learning to be a submissive wife. My Lord knows my efforts!

Jason occasionally asks me to ride 9 holes of golf with him. Not very often, though, because he knows that I will more than likely be a bigger distraction than just an enjoyable ride along. Maybe that's why he never asks me to ride 18. Anyway, I really wanted to go with him this past Tuesday .. the weather was way to beautiful and I wanted to spend some quality time with my husband watching him play the game he loves most (behind baseball of course).

You know, golf is such a quiet sport. As a talker, its so hard for me to just observe! Jason would tell you I didn't do a good job! But, I did the best I could. Here are a few shots, as I was "observing" (as quietly as possible)- haha
