National Day of Prayer

Hey Everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend! Just wanted to remind you all that this Thursday, May 6, is the National Day of Prayer.

Here is the link to the site, which gives great ideas on how to get involved, what to pray for, etc.: http://nationaldayofprayer.org/

Lots going on this day, so hopefully we can all be involved in someway, even if it is just praying at home, at work, in the car, with friends, . . .

We have been studying Revelation during Sunday night Bible study (A Vision of His Glory by Anne Graham Lotz-awsome!!!!) and last night we were talking about the golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints in Chapter 5 (Verse 8).

Are you comforted knowing that God not only hears prayers, he collects them? He has collected the prayers of His people for generations and generations and continues to gather ours this very day?!

So fitting for this week- Thank You Jesus for that blessing @ Bible study!

God promises in Psalm 32:8-
"I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go, I will guide you with My eye." In a world that is caught up in financial security, freedom of choice, speech, freedom to do whatever one desires - all the things of this world: would you pray for your nation? Your President? Your local leaders? Your community- schools, churches . . That they/we seek God's guidance and direction and follow His leadership.

I pray that you have a blessed time in prayer Thursday!
